Office and workplace cleaning is one of those things that looks simple until you hand it off to the wrong company. A shared office, a small medical suite, a busy co-working space — each one has different traffic patterns, different surfaces, and different expectations from the people who work there every day. Magic Castle Cleaning handles commercial cleaning across Salt Lake County with the same $2M general liability coverage and the same team accountability we bring to residential work. If your space isn't getting cleaned right, call (801) 618-2548 and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
What office cleaning actually includes depends on the space. A standard visit covers desks and work surfaces, break rooms and kitchens, restrooms, floors, trash removal, and high-touch points like door handles and light switches. A deep clean goes further: baseboards, interior glass, detailed restroom sanitation, and anything that's been skipped by whoever cleaned before us. Cost drivers include square footage, how often the space is cleaned, and the current condition when we start. Every job is different — contact Magic Castle Cleaning for an accurate estimate.
Here's what a properly scoped commercial clean includes, room by room.
Desks, chairs, shared tables, and hard surfaces wiped down. High-touch points like keyboards, phone handsets, and door handles get sanitized every visit — not just on deep cleans.
Counters, sinks, microwave exteriors and interiors, cabinet fronts, and the floor. A break room that doesn't get fully cleaned is a morale problem waiting to happen.
Toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and restocking as needed. Commercial restrooms get more traffic than residential ones — they need more attention, not less.
Vacuuming, mopping, or sweeping depending on the surface. Entry mats cleaned, reception areas presentable. First impressions start at the front door.
Why It Matters
Our Process
Three steps from first call to a clean office.
Tell us about your space: square footage, frequency you're looking for, and current condition. We'll ask a few honest questions and give you a straight answer about what it'll take.
First visits often include more detail work than recurring cleans, especially if the space hasn't had consistent service. We'll flag that upfront so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly — whatever cadence your business actually needs. We're available weekdays during normal business hours, with evening and weekend appointments available upon request. Consistent timing, consistent results.
What to Know
These are the things people actually want to know before they call.
Commercial cleaning rates in Utah vary widely based on size, frequency, and scope. A small suite cleaned weekly sits in a very different range than a 5,000-square-foot office cleaned monthly. We don't publish flat rates because flat rates don't reflect real jobs. Call us and we'll talk through what makes sense for your space.
In three hours we can do a thorough standard clean on a small to mid-size office: all the areas listed above, done properly. A larger space in that same window gets a focused clean — we'll tell you which is which before we start so expectations are set correctly.
One-time cleans work for a specific event or an inspection. For ongoing office maintenance, a recurring standard clean makes more sense and usually costs less per visit than booking one-time appointments repeatedly.
We don't do remediation, mold work, or post-construction heavy cleanup. We also don't clean rugs, couches, or mattresses. If someone quoted you on those services and we can't match it, we'll say so — rather than take a job we're not set up for.
General liability, $2M aggregate. Most independent cleaners carry no policy at all. If something breaks or something goes wrong in your office, you need a vendor who's actually covered. We are.
