Kitchen
Counters wiped and sanitized, exterior cabinet faces cleaned, stovetop cleaned, sink scrubbed, appliance exteriors wiped down, floor vacuumed and mopped. Inside oven and fridge are a deep-clean add-on, not standard.

Bathrooms
Toilet cleaned inside and out, sink and faucet scrubbed, mirror wiped, tub or shower walls cleaned, counters cleared and wiped, floor mopped. We don't rush bathrooms. They're where germs actually live.

Living Areas and Bedrooms
Dust all accessible surfaces, vacuum upholstered furniture, vacuum or sweep floors, mop hard surfaces, empty waste bins, fluff and straighten cushions and pillows. Clearing personal items beforehand helps, but we'll clean around anything left out.

Floors Throughout
We vacuum carpeted rooms and mop hard floors in every room we touch. If you have area rugs over hard floors, we vacuum those too. We don't do rug cleaning or carpet extraction as part of a standard visit, but we do offer carpet cleaning separately.

This is the question we get most often. A standard clean is maintenance. A deep clean is a reset.
If your home gets cleaned professionally every week or two, a standard clean is the right fit. We cover the everyday surfaces, the floors, the bathrooms, and the kitchen. It keeps things from building up.
If it's been a few months, or you've just moved in, or there's visible buildup on range hoods or inside appliances, a standard clean won't cut it. We'd be setting you up for disappointment. We'll tell you that upfront.

What does a standard clean include?
A standard clean covers all main living areas: kitchen counters and appliances wiped, bathroom toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors scrubbed, floors throughout vacuumed and mopped, all accessible surfaces dusted, and waste bins emptied. It does not include inside ovens, inside fridges, or carpet extraction. Those are part of a deep clean or add-on services.
How much is a 1 hour clean?
An hour of cleaning is rarely enough to make a meaningful difference in a full home. We don't sell cleaning by the hour because the result depends on the size and condition of the home, not the clock. We quote based on your specific space after a quick conversation. Is $50 an hour good for house cleaning?
It depends on what you're actually getting. A gig-economy cleaner with no insurance and no accountability might charge $35 to $50 an hour. An insured, professional service with consistent staff and real oversight costs more. We carry $2,000,000 in liability coverage, which the $50/hour option almost certainly doesn't. The cheaper rate becomes expensive quickly if anything goes wrong.
How much do you tip for cleaning at $200?
Tipping is never required, but it's always appreciated by the cleaners who do the work. If you were happy with the visit, $20 to $40 on a $200 service is a meaningful gesture. Cash left in an envelope or handed directly to the cleaner is the most direct way. We don't collect tips on your behalf.
How often should a standard cleaning be scheduled?
Every two weeks is the most common frequency for standard cleaning clients, and it's what we'd recommend for most occupied homes. Weekly works well for larger households or homes with pets. Monthly is manageable if the home doesn't see heavy traffic. The longer you go between cleanings, the more time each visit takes, and at some point a deep clean makes more sense than a standard one.
Do you use eco-friendly or non-toxic cleaning products?
We use professional-grade cleaning products that are effective and safe for families and pets. If you prefer specific non-toxic or green-friendly products, we're happy to use yours at no extra charge. Several clients with pets or sensitivities have asked us to do exactly that, and it's never a problem. Just let us know when you book.
Do I need to be home during a standard cleaning?
Not for the whole visit. We ask that you're available at the start so we can walk through what's being cleaned, and for a first-time standard clean, we'll also ask you to be available for a final walkthrough so we can confirm everything meets your expectations before we leave. Once you're on a recurring schedule, we only ask that you're home for that first visit; after that, most clients give us a key or door code and go about their day.
