Post-construction cleaning goes much deeper than a standard visit. It includes debris removal, top-to-bottom dry dusting (ceilings, vents, light fixtures, baseboards), followed by vacuuming and wet mopping. We clean inside cabinets, wipe down all surfaces, clean windows and tracks, and sanitize high-touch areas. A standard clean assumes the space is already lived-in and tidy. Post-construction assumes it isn't.
How long does a post-event or post-construction clean typically take?
It depends entirely on square footage, the type of mess, and how many rooms are involved. A single-room renovation might take two to three hours. A full-home construction cleanup or a large venue post-event can run a full day or require a multi-person team. When you call, we'll ask about the scope and give you a realistic time estimate before we schedule.
Do I need to remove construction debris myself before you arrive?
You don't need to do anything before we arrive. Debris removal is part of our service. We clear loose material, packaging, and waste before moving into the detailed cleaning phase. Starting with a debris-free space is actually part of our process — doing it in the right order is what produces a thorough result rather than a surface wipe.
Can you clean a space the same day construction finishes, or do you need lead time?
We typically schedule within a few days of a request. Same-day availability isn't something we can guarantee, and we'd rather be honest about that than overpromise. Is post-event cleaning different from post-construction cleaning, or is it the same process?
The end goal is the same — a clean, ready-to-use space — but the work is different. Post-event cleaning focuses on trash removal, spill cleanup, restroom sanitizing, and resetting surfaces. Post-construction cleaning is heavier on dust management, debris haul-out, and detail work on surfaces that collected construction particulates. We adjust our approach based on what the job actually requires.
